No no. Nobody got me involved. I involved myself. I and other admins randomly go to people's pages and look at their activity, and occasionally we find some bickering going on, so we try to put a stop to it before it evolves into something worse.

I appreciate you calming down, too. Oftentimes arguments can turn into harassments and eventually can lead to bannings, and I'm glad it didn't happen this time.
